2024 Events

It was a picture-perfect day to celebrate Father’s Day, with the sun shining brightly and a gentle breeze rustling through the trees. We found the ideal spot in the park, where laughter echoed as we spent hours playing softball and tossing the frisbee, relishing the joy of being together. The guys kicked back, soaking in the warmth of the day, while the ladies took charge of cooking and serving up delicious treats for the fathers. The aroma of grilled burgers and fresh salads filled the air, creating an atmosphere of love and appreciation. As we gathered around, sharing stories and enjoying each other’s company, it became clear that these simple moments were what made the day truly special.

The women of the Hilda's Foundation celebrated Mother's Day over two days. On the first day, A New Inspired Change hosted its annual luncheon at the Prince George County ballroom, bringing together women from supportive housing programs for a heartwarming event with food, music, dance, and inspiring testimonies. On the second day, a “Ladies Pop-up Boutique” sponsored by “A Soft Place to Land” and “Omega Women's Ministry” offered food, fun, and shopping, creating a delightful experience for all the ladies.

An excellent way to start the summer was by visiting Camden Yards to watch our Baltimore Orioles, one of the top teams in the MLB, take on one of the league’s favorite, the New York Yankees. The day was brimming with delicious food, enjoyment, and laughter. What a fantastic day it was!

Our clients volunteer at Our Daily Bread in Baltimore, serving meals to those in need. Their efforts make a direct impact on the community, providing nourishment and showing compassion to individuals facing hardship and homelessness. This act of service allows our clients to connect with others, cultivate empathy, and contribute to the well-being of their community.

When clients gather for a holiday celebration in 2024, featuring a festive dinner and thoughtful gifts, the spirit of joy transforms the event into a memorable occasion. The evening kicks off with a warm and inviting ambiance, enhanced by shimmering lights, chic decorations, and the gentle backdrop of seasonal music. As clients come together for a delightful meal, conversations abound, filled with personal stories and laughter. Following dinner, the exchange of gifts adds an exciting touch of surprise and happiness as clients unwrap meaningful tokens of appreciation and goodwill.

In February 2024, our team enjoyed a fantastic outing at Top Golf, where clients and staff came together for a day of fun and networking. The vibrant atmosphere of the golf range set the perfect backdrop for building relationships and fostering collaboration. Participants enjoyed swinging clubs, aiming for targets, and sharing laughs as they showcased their skills, from beginners to seasoned players. The event facilitated meaningful conversations, strengthening our connections with clients. Delicious food and drinks complemented the experience, creating a relaxed environment. Overall, the Top Golf outing was a memorable occasion that highlighted our commitment to client engagement and teamwork.

This year, our male and female clients enjoyed a fantastic four-day joint retreat at Deep Creek, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The experience included relaxation, engaging workshops, and meaningful bonding moments. A few adventurous clients even went fishing, adding a unique highlight to the retreat.
