We are non-profit, independent provider of specialized mental health and addiction services for people at ages. We utilize evidence-based, person-centered behavioral healthcare solutions that help clients live mentally-healthy, drug-free, and healthy life.
Hilda’s Place is happy to announce opening new long-term treatment facility located at 4949 Middleburg Rd. Taneytown. The facility has 11 beds for women.

Assessment and Referral Services
Do you want to teach people how to save lives? If you do, you can surely benefit from CPR Instructor Course. This course will give you knowledge, skills, and experience that you need to competent instructor in future.
DUI/DWI Services
Counseling, education, treatment, and individualized programs are available you receive DUI/DWI violation. We can provide treatment counseling and education that meets the requirements of the court or your attorney’s recommendations.
Youth Services
We provide diagnosis, treatment, and support for children, adolescents, and young adults struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues. We address a broad range of issues, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and alcohol and/or drug addiction – just to name a few.
Gambling Recovery Group
Like substance abuse, gambling addiction can negatively impact your entire life, causing problems with your career, finances, relationships, and even health. Through our gambling recovery group, we provide our clients with the tools and support necessary to overcome addiction and live a gambling- tran life.
Intensive Outpatient Groups
Our Intensive Outpatient services allow clients to live at home and participate in therapy during the day. Our intensive outpatient groups can benefit those continuing treatment after residential care, and people who cannot commit to living on-site or afford inpatient treatment. Intensive Outpatient can be a good transition from residential care as it provides more medical support for those who are just beginning their journey in sobriety.
Traditional Outpatient Groups
Our traditional outpatient groups allow clients to live at home and participate in treatment at our outpatient center during the daytime. Our program affords people more freedom in treatment, giving clients the ability to maintain a job and keep up with day-to-day responsibilities at home. Those just beginning our outpatient care may need daily sessions with our therapist or clinical staff, while those further along in recovery (or with less severe addictions) may be successful with part-time sessions once or twice per week.
Medication Assisted Treatment
We provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) in which we use medications in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies to treat substance use disorders. Medications may also be used to treat mental disorders or to manage their symptoms.
Family Supportive Services
Substance abuse and mental health disorders don’t just affect the individual – it affects the surrounding people too. We understand how difficult it is to watch your loved one struggle with an addiction or mental illness, which is why we offer family supportive services. We can help you better understand your loved one’s condition, offer advocacy, and provide other necessary supports.
Meditation
Whether you suffer from anxiety, depression, or substance abuse, meditation therapy along with other holistic treatments, can help you cope with these conditions. We teach our clients effective breathing, mindfulness, and meditation techniques that are designed to heal your body, mind, and spirit.
Acupuncture and Massage
Acupuncture and massage, combined with counseling and behavioral therapies, can be effective in treating substance abuse and mental health issues. It serves as a safe and effective alternative for those who don’t want to risk having adverse reactions or side effects of medications used for substance abuse and mental health treatment.
Free Transportation
Our Friendly, courteous and dependable driver will transport our clients to and from groups.

Please take note of our group schedules:
DUI Class: Wednesdays 3:00pm – 5:00pm
Morning IOP Group: Monday-Thursdays 10:00am – 1:00pm
Evening IOP Group: Mondays – Thursdays 2:00pm – 5:00pm
Evening OP Group: Mondays 3:00pm – 6:00pm for Wednesday, and Thursdays 4:00pm – 5:00pm
Family Support: Thursdays 4:00pm – 5:30pm
